China Gift Industry Promotion Program

The “Suggestions of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China on Formulating the Fourteenth Five-Year Plan for National Economic and Social Development and the Long-term Goals for 2035” adopted by the Fifth Plenary Session of the 19th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China clearly stated that the implementation of the digitalization strategy of the cultural industry and the acceleration of the development of new Cultural enterprises, cultural formats and cultural consumption patterns.

On April 27, 2022, six departments including the Ministry of Commerce, the Central Propaganda Department, the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, the State Administration of Radio, Film and Television, the Foreign Languages Publishing Bureau and the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade jointly issued the “Notice on Printing and Distributing the 2022 Work Plan of the “Thousand Sails Going Overseas” Action Plan for Foreign Cultural Trade “, the China Gifts Industry Promotion Plan was successfully selected into the Action Plan.
